Yeah, so I got an idea for a quick (oh...4 pages or so) doujinshi...This is set after Ranma and co. get their precious jusenkyo springs (although I haven't read most of the series yet...). I'm not entirely sure anymore why, but while protecting Akane, Ranma fell into the spring of drowned girl again before he found the spring of drowned man...and the guide proclaimed that twice in the same pool forced you to permanantly become whatever that was--no more hot/cold water (Mousse, Shampoo and Ryoga were careful to give their respective springs a wide berth)
So, Ranma is forced to stay as a girl--as a plus, it nullifies his engagements...but now he has to adjust to no longer being a 'guy'.
This is a few weeks after this, somehow Akane still did not notice Ryoga was P-chan when he jumped into the spring--but he's still been unusually solemn since returning to the dojo.
This is...a Femme Ramna/Ryoga doujinshi....since Ranma is completely a girl now, it's not shonen-ai/yaoish (Hey, I've heard worse excuses for vice versa! Plus, they make such an entertaining couple...)
Incidentally, Genma is still a panda...but that's only because he's so boring without the panda side!

Actually, no, he's not forced to stay that way. All he has to do is find the Drowned Man spring, just twice in it, and he'd be back to normal. But then again, Ramna isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. Is he?

Clearly Ranma should have stuck around and listened to the Spring Guy's full explanation, instead of running off in frustration before he was done. He never learns, it seems.
