Okay, I am not super brushed up on Bleach (I've only read a little bit of it, though I enjoyed what I did read), but I am 99% certain that Ichigo was the main character...? Did someone replace him? Did he die??? That would be sad....

No no he's still around, just...it's "let the bad guy defeat lots of Very Strong Characters so Ichigo's eventual win is even less believable more exciting" at the moment, lol.

I know I'm certainly finding it boring. There's been a massive influx of new characters...with barely any girls (and all the girls are walking stereotypes) so yeah, idk. Maybe it'll be easier to go back and reread it in one go? And it'll be better like that? :\

And perhaps reading it all in one shot would be more enjoyable! I often find that really long-running stories like that are better when you read big chunks of them at once.
