I decided to draw this one in a slightly different style than my usual work. I was able to make her plugsuit extra shiny using a photoshop technique. I'll make a tutorial one day

Well. I can't let any fan art of Asuka langley slide by without comment. A stunning character, Asuka still remains probably one of the most original characters in the anime universe. Having said that, I'm intrigued by how you did her face here. It's rare for me to see images of Asuka langley with facial features that in norm with actual anatomy, particularly the eyes, which are so much smaller than I'm accustomed to seeing.
As a result, I have an odd feeling when I look at this. I'm not certain, but I don't feel like I'm actually looking at Asuka Langley here. You've lovingly portrayed a sense of pride and strength, both qualities emanate gloriously from her figure... but there's something else in those eyes, a coldness radiating from them that never was within the original character.
Asuka Langley didn't let the tragedy of her past reduce her to becoming cold. She remained warm in spite of that tragedy, until the very end... as horrible as it was.
