Chapter 3 is finally out~
it took forever (again) because I kept adding more pages... The plot is just starting to develop
This chapter features 's character, Zhen, the winning character for the Knite character contest. He will be one of the main casts from now on and the other 3 winners will have their characters appear in future chapters. There will be around 7-8 more chapters to go so stay tuned! ~~~~~

Everything was drawn in Paint tool SAI, the textures were added in Photoshop, and the comic was put together in Macromedia Flash.

That nursery song would make me really sad, even as a toddler who didn't understand much, I was always so sad when my mom sang it because I thought of how lonely and sad it would be for children with no mother, who are just like wild grass. Lonely and having to fend for themselves in the wild.

I cant even properly express the feelings that this comic gives me. I could yell repeatedly about the feels in it, but even that wouldn't come close to describing the pain that each of the characters feel, and just the pure beauty that is this comic. So as much as I would love to say how amazing this comic is, I am sadly unable to. I apologize.

This is so amazing and beautiful! It's also very interesting because I'm Chinese but was born in America, so I don't know a lot about my heritage except for what my parents tell me every once in a while. I'm actually learning something from this comic

There's a question about the picking up of kites, wouldn't they be electrified by touching the electricity cables (cause they touch both the kite and the ground and would easily become a conductor)?

Are you asking about how did she drew and animate it? Drawing was done in Paint Tool SAI + Photoshop. Animation/Interactive buttons were done using Adobe Flash.
