I’ll post a few pages of the scriptless jpeg version onto dA everyday until the next chapter comes out. I was able to finish Ch1 in roughly a month over winter break but I'll need to slow down now that I’m back at college and I have to work on commissions to pay for college XD
BIG THANKS to my Art Major friend, for proof reading the script and critiquing my drawings. Also BIG THANKS to my best friend, Leah, who helped me with the story plot, and my roommate, , for fixing my typos XD. Last but not least, BIG THANKS to for her awesome Flash tutorials that taught me how to make this comic possible! 
I love you all!Everything was drawn in Paint tool SAI, the textures were added in Photoshop, and the comic was put together in Macromedia Flash.

It's been ten about years since this was posted, and still it's as lovely as the first time I saw it.
With everything happening now in the year of 2020, I wonder though if those stars might be visible now, or if perhaps more time yet is needed for the earth to recover. I hope the stars can be seen, for all the dreamers who wish to gaze upon them.

For me, this is where it began: my love of comics, and discovering that maybe I could make them too. Haven't read this in a while--gonna be so much fun to binge read it all again!

i don't know what to else to say but I LOVE EVERYTHING!! The way it's all composed is so touching >///< how the art glows and the story just warms my heart TT^TT but the Chinese aspect just really...hits home, i guess?

I've been to China for 2 weeks. I'm a fervent lover of the sky, especially night's sky.
But there.... There was no sky. Only a gray fog. It made me so sad.
There was nights I almost cried for the moon to show itself to me.
There is no word to describe the happiness I felt when back home and saw a bright blue sky during the day, and a shiny moon at night surrounded by countless stars

That is INCREDIBLY. BEAUTIFUL. Wow. I'm completely blown away O.O the atmosphere, the lighting, the usage of colour, THE STORY EVEN?! I haven't seen something that outstanding and touching for a long time.

This was really moving. Hopefully, things are starting to change there? China grew a lot industrially, a bit like during the Industrial Revolution here in Europe, but they seem to have been started to take pollution seriously. I hope the situation will be better within the current generation, but it will probably take a little longer...

Wow...that was a sad but beautifully drawn story. I got to visit China in the summer of 2013, it was so weird not being able to see the sky in some cities or seeing people walk around with masks. I hope one day that is not the case...
