A5405 RAS My December and what began as storm clouds but became very galaxy influenced as I worked on it.

I remember seeing this when it was first posted, but I don't remember how the cel shading looked xD But I do agree that the painted style suits the atmosphere a lot better!

I have to say tho, my favourite part is the grass (ino i'm weird sorry xD) but I just love how you added so many small details, like the little tail-lights (hehehe) and just how the grass flows, like the wind is pushing against it and the different tones!

Alright so I've probably already told you this before, but WOW your clouds are absolutely stunning! Such an inspiration to me, I'm always trying to replicate them but I don't know how you do it (I've tried following your tutorial but mine are never as nice and mystical!)... You've got talent! 
Really love the texturing in the horse's hair in this! Great work on including all the crazy colours!

Thank you! I love clouds, I'm always staring at the sky at different times of day and seeing how the light hits them, and the different shapes they make lol. I'm always so happy when people like my paintings of them. Practise makes perfect! Keep drawing them, it's taken me over a year of consciously working on them to get to where I am now.

This I saw first time in my inbox today, and I really adore the lighting and shading/shadows on the horse. They are done really well and highlights the section of sunlight filtering in in front of the horse, which brings in the beautiful, large BG while still keeping the central focus on the horse. It even inspired me to try some personal art painting I have not done just for myself in ages and I must thank you for that. <3

I really, really love your dramatic skyline here. While the rest of the composition is really very simple (we only see just the smallest patch of ground, with maybe some mountains in the low distance through the clouds), the riot going on overhead really gets to dominate our attention. I love your combination of fierce clouds / clear sky + stars / bright streams of moonlight here, it's all builds to a very otherworldly/mgaical feel. And the simple but glimmery horse's design compliments this as well! I love how the horse's attention is turned away from the viewer and fixed on the stormclouds.
