Horse: 806 NightTide
Prompt: "It's a cold day, and the last few leaves are clinging desperately to the trees in the frosty breeze. It has snowed heavily in the north, leaving the mountain regions with a crisp, thick white blanket. While snow hasn't reached the other areas yet, the clouds are hanging low and heavy, looking as though they could relieve themselves of their wintery load any moment. Puddles are frozen, and a layer of frost covers the remaining ground, causing it to glitter when the sun breaks though. It's a magical time, but don't forget to keep warm!"

I started on this as soon as the contest was announced and it's taken me this long to make this! it's all biro, gel pen and markers, except the sparkles on the snow which I added in manga studio after I finished.

The hardest bits was colouring Night herself, and I tried to copy PolarisAstrum 's style of shading because I really like how she colours horses and the other hardest bit was the sky. omgsomuchblending. thanks to my dad for teaching me how to blend colours with patience and lots of layers of colour lol
