XD Well, when my friend first read the manga she thought Mello was a girl too. She's more of a Mello fan than I a but I didn't think Mello looked like a girl when he first appeared. I could just tell by the eyes, guys tend to have smaller eyes than girls in anime/manga. But still, that was hilarious.

Maybe for the kid Mello (I've only read the manga so I don't know all the details of the anime) since they use girl actresses for kids alot. A girl voice for the adult Mello wouldn't be so bad. As long as it's not bubbly and high pitched XD (that'd be confusing, and disturbing for the subbed fans) But an older sexy voice would be alright.
