Description I stumbled over this great challenge: Draw a Hogwarts corridor! which you will find here: [link] and so I got inspired to draw my first picture since a very long time.

This is a scene on the fifth corridor near the statue of Boris the Bewildered, who is discribed in Book four as a lost-looking wizard with his gloves on the wrong hands near the Prefects bathroom, where Harry took his bath to figure out the egg riddle during the Triwizard Tournament.
This scene however takes place a very long time before Harry going to school, although a Riddle is involved, too. (what a breathtaking wordplay, haha!)
I staged the moment when Tom Riddle asked Helena Ravenclaw about the lost diadem of her mother in this corridor, mostly because I wanted to draw a ghost and because I love this statue!

So, I hope you enjoy my little contribution to the challenge.

Riddle is really amazing! I can recognize it at once, and you really see why Helena Ravenclaw fell for him.
The perspective is also good, and I recognize the corridor from my mind - but maybe the paintings on the right wall is a bit out of perspective?
Great frame on the upper one, though
And the statue owns the world!

Thank you!
Yes, the paintings are a bit strange, but I first had them on perspective and everything looked so neat and straight and right and I don't know - blargh! I just thought it wasn't right, it wasn't Hogwarts, so I made them like this

I know the feeling When I draw cities, I usually don't have anything in perspective, you get sort of a more cramped feeling

Nicely done! You've got the figures down quite well...and Tom definitely looks like the nice, quiet boy he fooled mostly everyone into thinking that he was. I like the perspective on the hallway, too.

As I exspected it be: WONDERFUL!
I couldn't wait to watch this one, after you had told me about it and I'm amazed, how it turned out!
The lost, sad look in Helenas face really creeps me out.

Well done!

And by the way: Happa, happy Birthday!
*hugs*

Oh yes I enjoy your contribution to the challenge ! I'm very glad you drew it. And I'm very delighted to see a Riddle - you can recognize him at once. Good choice for a pic, really...

I like also Boris of course -

Thank you very much for the pic and I'm very glad, again, that the challenge has inspired you.

Me too! I was hesitating between Kreacher hitting Mundungus and calling: "Just once more, master Harry, for good luck!" and this one, but I chose, as you can see, Dumbledore.

Thanks the lovely comment, I'm glad you like it. I was affraid that Tom was looking too nice and innocent, but then I told myself: Hey, he's got to! He wants to charm a very valuable information out of her. So, here we are.

And thanks again for inspiring me for the first in what feels like years!
