Description Hm... I actually kind of like this picture. I was taking the bus home, and I looked at the back of me, and I thought, "This is a photo opportunity!" And yeah... I took out my digital camera. I hope those bus people don't think I'm weird. I like how the guy on the left is just looking out of the window with a look of anticipation, and how the windows are blurred because the bus is moving. Yeah, I'm weird.

Black and white was obviously a perfect choice for this picture - you pulled it off nicely!

heh... the people are not really recogniseable, so i wouldn't worry, besides, there's something about a law that people in crowds or public places are not subject to requiring model releases or permission. i'll have to look it up to make sure or get better details, though

Haha. I really hope there isn't a law against it...

here's a site that explains it in detail - great detail. but as the guy says, it's not cut and dried, it's never simple, so you really do need to read it.

on the other hand, the fact that it's taken in a public place, isn't about one specific person, the people aren't very recognizeable (and it has to be recogniseable by a neutral person, not by the people involved or their friends), and you aren't selling the work or promoting a political or religious point of view, and displaying your photos on a website that isn't promoting a point of view, etc... means it's probably fine, no model releases needed.

here's the [link] it's worth reading - i learned a lot myself

i dont think it would get you into trouble,
but if you publish work, or shoot often, its wise to ask the subjects.
