I recently had a fellow artist ask for some help on drawing heads. This is a drawing, I did from an old study I made in college. If you look close, you can see the abstract basic shapes of the head from different angles. Understanding the head's form will help you draw it easier. This study should work for drawing any humanoid types too. You will need to make shape adjustments for whatever that creature is.Pen and ink.
