Description
Ostriesland is new class of carrier in German service. On the first size it look like oversized cruiser but class is built on a pocket battlecruiser frame. Pocket battlecruiser is concept of smaller warship which carry the firepower of battlecruiser but is not full sized battlecruiser. German command received smaller but ship that can carry same number of fighters and other smaller types of support crafts as fully pledged battlecruiser sized carrier.
Ostriesland is in service for barely five years, in this period of time twenty ships were constructed with more on the way. This class replace Jade class carriers which where bulky, and had many issues, four of which were lost during war with Chinese Empire. Ostriesland eliminate most of those problems.

There is 102 dual 40mm Pulse Laser AA rapid firing cannons. Ostriesland have advanced ECM systems and is also capable of jamming everything around itself. It can carry up to 120 fighters and 20 shuttles, if assault modules are installed it can carry over for dozen ground vehicles and two thousand troops. Ship is 690m in length and have 1200 crew.
