Here's the last and youngest Hologram for my Ultimate Jem Project.For those of you that don't know about the show, Kimber is Jerrica's sister. She's also the main writer for the holograms and keyboards or "keytarist" (no longer an instrument I see around so I'm replacing it with either Rhythm guitar or bass.)
Her look in this illustration is based off on my character Cory which in turn is based off Candy Cane from Rumble Roses
Anyway, looks doesn't matter since they change their style every so often, especially my Holograms Jem but she hasn't been posted yet.
You might be wondering what Fire and Ice is, well in the show Kimber left the Holograms for a really short time and ended up in a duo with Stormer from the Misfits. So I'm taking that unpolished but really good idea a little further and really make them a duo. Fire and Ice is the name I chose for multiple reasons, it's easy to relate and in honor of the DC characters by the same name. I might have to do some research about it but Fire and Ice will be under the Starlight label, but Jerrica won't have control over it. Kimber is also co-owner of Starlight music and I want to show what she can do with all her writing talent.

Kimber was my favorite of the Holograms and Stormer of the Misfits. When they got together for their album it was amazing (or outrageous? ) I'm changing the focus of finding boyfriends to finding herself. In all honesty it felt like that's what Christy Marx wanted to write all along but wasn't allowed to. I say that 'cause it IS there, just hidden below the boyfriends and tantrums (mostly in the tantrums) She was the writer and composer for most of their songs, she never tried to take the spotlight (from her sister I mean) and even though she was Jerrica's true sister, Jerrica spent more time with the others. I love these characters, they did such a good job with them.

You know, I actually saw a keytair being used at a live concert a couple months ago. One of the members of Sonata Artica was rocking it which kinda amused me to no end since I had never actually seen one outside of Jem.

Yes that was weird and definitely their music will be very different, I've given hints of it by making Kimber a fan of the Misfits.

Kimber actually wore pigtails when she teamed up with Stormer. I saw the episode 2 days ago and was like WTF? I'm not entirely surprised about it, I mean there's so much of Jem in my creations through the years (most of the subconsciously implemented)

She's 2 years younger than Jerrica in my version (don't really know how old she is in the original) so in this drawing she's 19 as Jerrica is 21 when she starts Jem and The Holograms. My previous drawing of Jem was just Jem, no Holograms around. Well Shana was playing the drums but that's a detail lol

You know there's so much going on, or rather so much has happened in music its amazing they haven't considered bringing Jem back. I bet if they do think about it, it will be on a movie with poorly cast actors doing silly things from the show which will then flop and bury the franchise for good.
I love how He-Man was redone but the remake was somewhat under appreciated. I don't really care if Jem gets a remake and the same thing happens to it as long as its good. After all Hasbro only wanted to make dolls, Christy Marx made them into what they were. My version takes that into account too, that's why you see various versions of the characters. (and I need those versions anyway to tell the story)

I thought about making them a couple, then I thought of making Kimber and Craig a couple, then back to Stormer and Kimber but one of the main things of the show is not that Kimber is boy crazy but rather that boys tend to fight over her. It is actually funny, I think she got more men falling for her than either Jerrica or Jem. So I'm gonna keep her straight unless people convince me to do otherwise.
Basically their apparent sappho relationship will be just a gimmick.
Like I said, I want to show how Kimber can get her own thing going without Jerrica helping much. She can use the media just like everyone seems to be doing now. There's no good or bad publicity, there's just publicity right? Sad but true and the fans are to blame.

Just keep an eye on me because I am not sure when it will be up as I just started writing it. I only have three or four pages and I have already decided that page one is going to be the prologue so that means I am going to have to expand on it more. I watched the show but I never studied the characters like I have with Sailor Moon. I hope I get the character's personalities correct. ^_^
