Esator was a halfling living alongisde his family in a rural community. They really never had much in terms of need, being somewhat rich, and having some good fields, although they were always a bit reclusive. The relative quietness of Esator's childhood would suddenly come to an end, as a mob stormed their land, carrying torches and pitchforks, with clear intend of destruction. While Esator managed to escape the onslaught, the same can't be said of the rest of his family. He didn't even understand why it happened in the first place.

He would learn much later that the people believed that his family were demon worshipers... He would snicker to the mere idea... Why would they waste their time worshiping such weak beings?
