Description (This is what runs through my head after listening to Pink Floyd late at night...)

WORM: War Operable Robotic Mechanism

WORMs were first developed in a privately owned British company, Waters Mechanical Engineering, with the first prototype appearing around 2015. They are made chiefly from Carbon-composite steel, a sort of specially reinforced metal that renders them immune to all non-explosive weaponry short of a tank shell. The company began receiving a lot of funding from the government at that point, and the prototype design was modified for military purposes, the already nigh-impervious things being outfitted with powerful servos and comprehensove strategy programming.

Then, the CEO of the company, Nathaniel Waters, went a little power mad. I'm sure you would too, if you had a small army of nearly indestructible machines. He began to imagine what he could do with the WORMs, and finally fantasized about returning Britain to its former imperial might. He quickly began issuing ultimatums to surrounding countries, and those who did not respond favorably were rapidly crushed beneath the machine's heels. The machines were not on their own-Humans were not uneager to ally themselves with invincible war robots. Several remnants fled toward Russia, hoping to escape the WORMs undeterrable advance. They quickly erected a massive wall, on a scale not seen since the Great Wall of China. With this, they did succesfully stop the marching robots for some time. but intelligenc reports of new WORMs, better equipped for wall-smashing, on their way, have set the dwellers behind the Wall into a state of frenzy, gathering troops and weapons to stem the advance, and possibly drive them back.

Sitting in a bunker here behind my wall
Waiting for the worms to come.
In perfect isolation here behind my wall
Waiting for the worms to come.

We're {waiting to succeed} and going to convene outside Brixton
Town Hall where we're going to be...

Waiting to cut out the deadwood.
Waiting to clean up the city.
Waiting to follow the worms.
Waiting to put on a black shirt.
Waiting to weed out the weaklings.
Waiting to smash in their windows
And kick in their doors.
Waiting for the final solution
To strengthen the strain.
Waiting to follow the worms.
Waiting to turn on the showers
And fire the ovens.
Waiting for the queens and the coons
and the reds and the jews.
Waiting to follow the worms.

Would you like to see Britannia
Rule again, my friend?
All you have to do is follow the worms.

EDIT: Ah, now these proportions are more acceptable.

Cool robot character! I love of how it's perfect with the inspired Pink Floyd song.

Thankyah!

I figured including that would make it easier to understand where the idea came from. Which was, As I said, too much Floyd late at night. It's the same sort of effect as pizza nightmares, only with more marching hammers.
