So This is my second and final Ghost Rider Piece For Week 30My First submission just didn't cut it for me and I knew just looking at it that it wasn't my best so I gave it another try and this time im proud of the out come more so than the first attempt which is now to me a FAILED attempt lol

Im overall happy with this one not sure if its gonna beat my opponent Hes DEADLY his pencils are sick check em out trust me its worth it Good luck dude not that you will need it but yea
also I had fun with this one as I did the first one but this one is better IMO and hopefully This Time around I have done Ghost Rider some justice
Also Special thanks to Man those words from your run down ate me alive And I took every bit of it to the best of my ability I reached deep long and hard to find that inner warrior and I think i may have found it

not bad dude. did you use the liquify for the fire or is that just a filter? I'd recommend hand painting the fire just to learn from it, but the effect you did here is effective still

thanks man and well i painted it then used the smudge tool at 25% then made light strokes in the motion i wanted then put a 45% bevel on it then duplicated the layer and set it to colordodge then went over again with a gold then guassian blur turned the layer to about 50% fill and 85 opacity and you get this lol

I am gonna try to do it by hand more tho cuz i dont wanna handicap myself using effects ya know say if i do it in traditional media cant use effects then

ya exactly. sometimes ill paint an entire thing on one layer just to imitate traditional painting. cuz when i finally took a painting class i kept wanting to reach for an "undo" that wasn't there haha. effects are still good though cuz thats the advantage of digital painting. but learning why and how things work and how they look and trying to imitate a look entirely by hand is good for you artistically. for example you could google a bunch of images of fire and use them as reference and do a color study and try to imitate fire just by painting. color studies are important. and fun

Ha ha yea man you hit the nail on the head with that thats exactly how i feel about it i did that when i was coloring with some pro markers and i was thinking Ctrl Z lol

This is killer work man. I was afraid to try and color flames on this guy so I just kept it black and white. I say you did bring the ghost rider a great deal of justice right here. I like how you did the back ground too.
