Daniel 12:1
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

"Prince which stands for the children of thy people" means that he is the patron of Israel and God's chosen people (Christians)

I don't get why some groups view Michael as another form of Christ?
The Bible clearly separates the two...
The JW's view Jesus as the physical form of Michael (they don't believe Jesus is God), while the SDA's view Michael as another name for Jesus (they used to teach the same as the JW's but doctrinal changes over the years changed that).

By rejecting the Divinity of Christ JW & SDA cannt be referred as Christians. I dont know why they put Michael in there, this is just so strange...

I think it has something to do with the meaning of Michael's name(who is like God?), and their interpretation of the passages in Daniel mentioning him. Also, since both Michael and Jesus are shown leading armies of angels in the Book of Revelation, they believe both are the same.
The JW's believe that God, Jehovah, created Jesus/Michael, and then Jesus created all of existence.
Jehovah Witnesses as a whole deny the trinity, viewing it as a doctrine of the devil.
While the SDA's deny that they ever taught something similar to JW's (Jesus is still God to them) they still teach Michael and Jesus are one in the same. They produced a paraphrased bible that's been injected with their own doctrine into scripture (Sabbath worship, Annihilationism, Soul Sleep, Michael is Jesus, etc).

The Seventh Day Adventists teaches a trinity doctrine, but it's not Biblical.
It's more like Tritheism, three whole gods, instead of three persons in of God.

Seventh Day Adventists sprung up from a failed end of the world prophecy in the mid 1840's. Rather than admitting they were wrong, a couple of the supporters came up with a 'new revelation', reinserting some Old Testament laws, and creating and spreading several false doctrines.
One key person behind this was Ellen G. White, who claimed to have received visions from Heaven.
Most die hard SDA's view the Bible through her writings, not the other way around as it should be.
They view keeping the Sabbath on Sunday as the sign of the Anti-Christ...

To view Lord´s Resurrection Day as a "sign of antichrist", this is an utter blasphemy. Every Sunday is a small Easter, triumph of Lord´s victory over the devil. Its a celebration of the entire humanity that was set eternally free on that very Sunday morning...

They believe that the Sunday worship is related to sun worship, practiced by Roman pagans.
They tried to pin the blame on Constantine for moving the Sabbath to Sunday (325 AD), but both the Bible and various writings of the church fathers point to Sunday worship as being established much earlier.
They try to twist scripture, saying the Sabbath Law existed before the Law of Moses.
The problem with the SDA's is that their doctrines are based more on the Old Testament, and not the New Testament.
