Hi!!I've almost finished the WIP I showed some days ago, but I had to draw this for , she's a very good friend and I hope she like it! This is her OC Yashiro, she doesn't seem very similar to the original one but I've tried
The background was just a pain to do

I agree. But at least they are willing to go through the trouble of putting so much detail into this. Unlike me who rushes and often forgets elements of the piece.

I tried to practice perspective a bit, and well I failed somehow in the face's shape, but I don't mind, at least I tried

The glowing effect is very simple to do if you know how SAI works, just make a new layer with "addition" option, and choose the airbrush and the white color

well first I do the base colors, then I shade with one tone, then another, and use the tool "blur" in them a bit; next step, highlights, and next step even more highlights.
I'll make a tutorial some day XD

Ok. First I'm going to be critical. Don't kill me okay?
As stated by ,The flowers and stuff should be birds-eye view. It adds to the drawing, the little details count. I believe the dress would look better if it was dipping into the water, and water ripples would help with the overall image. White lines don't make everything better. One thing he/she didn't poimt out is that the face looks odd. The eyes are proportional in my mind, but that may just be my mind not working.
Okay now to applaud this work.
First off. I love the hair. I don't know why but I like it. 
Over all a beautiful piece. I would submit a critique, but unfortunate I'm broke and I think premium memberships are overrated.
