I can imagine the whole scene!
Tintin and haddock are having an arguement and they go to their rooms!
A few hours later, Tintin gets a call from Haddock and he's all mopey and apologetic!

When I drew it, I was sort of thinking of the first few months of their friendship, between Crab With the Golden Claws and Secret of the Unicorn, when Captain would be struggling with reducing his drinking. Suddenly he has this friend who he can call (at apparently inoppurtune times) when he needs support.
That's just my story, though
