As an Australian, this is cool!
However: The East India Trade Company was British owned... I believe their land was part of the British Empire as well. Also, Abel Tasman (with an S) was a Dutch explorer, so his discoveries would go to them, technically. What's your history for the "Australasia" colony? Is it french, or someone else? Are there any french involved?

East India Trade Company acts as a sovereign entity since it's a company and the lands don't technically belong to the government (in the same way that the Hudson's Bay Company here in canada wasn't part of England) It's granted monopoly and land in certain areas. Yeah i have some typos

Ah, I see. I did some reasearch on the East India Trading Company (and Dutch east indies trading company, readily confused), and this seems to be the case. I've decided to just enter the comp, because other people's entries were bothering me
