Description
Title: "Obscure in the Dark"Date Finished: 11.18.2005
Here's an original character of mine, named Obscure. I've drawn other versions of him before, but I think this one captures his character best. This really turned out quite different than I had intended. After the initial painting was done, I used a lot of multiply and addition layers to create the atmosphere depicted. I'm very happy with the results
This image was done in openCanvas version 2.24e and 3.05e. Finishing was done in Photoshop 5.

Only thing I noticed was that the tendons coming down from the neck seem to stand out a bit much...Perhaps its just me?

I don't think they stand out too much, but that is a new way for me to draw the neck, so it might look a little wonky right now. I can see that I need to lower the pit of the neck just a little bit, so there's always room for improvement! Thanks for your comment! ^__^
