Description
Edit: I have changed the name of this form of Drageon. "Comadra" is the name of a legendary dragon pokemon I have come up with for a region I am creating. It is a red and gold serpentine dragon, which is where this form of Drageon gets its appearance and ability as well. The Red Dragon Scales that make Eevee evolve into this form are scales from Comadra. And fun fact about Comadra's name: "Coma-" is derived from "cumhacht", which is Irish for "power", and "-dra" comes from "dragon".
[Update]
Thanks to a conversation with a friend, I've come up with the idea that the whiskers of Drageon give an indication of their age. In this case, they are very young. Also, I changed a detail to the evolution method.
Update 3/28/2018
I am changing drageon from having smooth skin like vaporeon to having fur, but only the red is fur; the golden yellow remains smooth.
Update: I got rid of the move Dragon Armor. The longer I thought about it, the less I liked it. And I have changed Drageon's ability from Elemental Power to Adaptive Power which will allow Drageon to become Bug type whereas the other didn't. Part of the reason is so it can become all types (fitting of an adaptive eeveelution) and also because it will allow Drageon to use the move Mega Horn. XD
Here it is, my design for a dragon type eeveelution drawn for me by the amazing eldrige . I cannot tell you how long I have been waiting to show everyone my idea for a dragon type eeveelution.
Now, on to information of Drageon! I hope you like it.
Name: Drageon (Serpentine Form)
Species: Mammalian Dragon
Ability: Adaptive Power- The user gains a second type matching the type of an incoming attack (when attacked) or that of a held item (if applicable).
Evolution Method: Level up eevee while holding a Red Dragon Stone or Red Dragon Scale. The Dragon Stone is a Dragon Scale that has fossilized.
Other Info: Drageon has a powerful internal energy that is in a state of flux which is what allows it to temporarily gain a second type. Drageon can also use this energy to negate the effect of gravity on its body allowing it to float in mid-air. It can use the energy to propel itself as well, thus giving it the ability to fly. When running, it is no faster than the average speed of the other eeveelutions, but when it flies, it is quite quick and agile. When drageons are angered, their pupils will become narrow slits. In this state, they are exceptionally fierce; in fact, they are the fiercest of all the known eeveelutions, a trait of being a Dragon type. Drageon also has the widest moveset of all currently existing eeveelutions, type-wise.
Base Stats
HP: 60
Attack: 95
Defense: 65
Special Attack: 130
Special Defense: 65
Speed: 110
Drageon has a new move: Dragon Roar.
Dragon Roar is a move exclusive to dragon types, no exceptions. The dragon unleashes energy in powerful roar. This move is normally dragon type; however, if the dragon using it has a second type (i.e. Garchomp with ground type) then the move takes on the other type in place of dragon. The second type is considered the dragon’s element. This is, of course, where Drageon gets its Species name of Elemental Dragon; since it can learn this move PLUS has the ability to add a second typing, it can then make the most use of this move.
Damage: 100
Accuracy: 90
PP: 15
Also, Eldrige gave me the idea to make a few Pokedex entries for Drageon. Here's what I have so far:
1. In some cultures, Drageon is believed to carry good luck.
2. Drageon can use its power to negate gravity on its body to fly.
3. Drageon turns Eevee’s potential diversity into shear power.
4. Drageon’s pupils become narrow when angered. If you witness this, walk away.
5. Thanks to its elemental power, Drageon is able to thrive in any environment.
6. Drageon hears through the appendages on the back of its head by picking up vibrations in the air.
7. Drageon prefer flying to running on their paws.
8. The power within Drageon causes its whiskers to flow next to it regardless if there is any wind.
9. Their whiskers will droop when their power is exhausted and they cannot fly until their power is restored.
10. For an unknown reason, this form of Drageon and its blue cousin sometimes start fighting out of nowhere.
11. The scales that cause Eevee to evolve into Drageon come from a red legendary dragon pokemon which is also where Drageon gets its features from.
