I finished coloring it! Yay!A sad SAD attempt at the Wind Waker style. Anywho, tis Helmaroc! Prolly one of my favorite bosses in the Zelda Series... and hot DAMN, those games have awesome baddies! I just love his colors.. They're just so.. HORABLE together! and yet, good. In some sick sad way.
Funny thing... the day after i drew this, i had to kill that damned bird
Done in photoshop... oh the horror.. And yes, Helmaroc and all the Zelda goodness is (c) Nintendo.

*rolling in omgsearchworks land* Huzzah! I love Helmaroc too. I did a mosaic type thing of him in history class once (why in -history- of all subjects, I'll never know...it was towards the end of the year, I think the teacher ran out of crap to teach us) Come to think of it, I don't remember getting that back. D'aww...*is sad now* Oh well. Very well done pic. Thumbsup.

Eeeee ^^ The Great Helmaroc King is my favorite boss in the entire game! I have a mad fancination with birds xD When I saw this one on the instruction manual of the game, I instantly wondered what its name was and what alliance it was. Shame its not a good guy ):
The style is actually done rather nicely, I like the details upon his wings and all. His coloring is actualy pretty good too! Awesome work!

Ever made the connection of the red bird on Link's shild was pointing to the Triforce then suddenly the Helmaroc King shows up? I actually think there's a big connection there . . .just can't figure it out. Though I must say he looks much better with his mask on.

Those colors are tacky....yet,they work wonderfully together. How confusing . Heh...great job though. The claws are awesome,as well as the feathers.

Awesome colors, they definitely feel the WW style and they just seem to blend together so nicely I really like the "messy" outlines ("messy" in a good way though cuz it makes it look sweeter
). The tails feathers must have been a pain to draw though it seems the time was worth it, and I dunno why but I really like the color of the bird's tongue

AWESOMELY DONE! OMG, I LOVE IT.
I thought the Helmaroc King was the coolest Boss ever (besides that floating head and hands that reminded me too much of Bongo Bongo.. I swear that dungeon reminded me of the movie Atlantis..), and yes.. though the colours are horrible, it just.. works!
And the glowing neon-blue tongue? TELL ME THAT WASN'T COOL.
Anyhow, REALLY well done.
