Would you believe that I actually found him in the woods on a mountain? He was just mewing and was perfectly happy to be in my arms and taken in! My grandmother always said she would like to come back as a cat in a good home...what a life they have.

Wow. The story of how I got Miss Chievous is so - boring - by comparison. A woman in a town nearby saw my ad at the grocery store ("Kitten wanted") and called me. The first thing out of her mouth was, "Would you be interested in a kitten? A very naughty female kitten?" Of course I would be! So I went over and I got Missy because "the kitten seems to like the way you are holding her".
Now your kitty, he must have known The One was coming to rescue him. He knew you on sight.
