There is much we don't know about the vast seas and oceans. Legends speak of a seafaring creature that would prey upon hapless vessels traveling open waters. Cerazh, a monstrous leviathan-like life form had the power to constrict ships with its flexible body and then chew through them with the jaws on its torso. Sightings of the Sunken Horror are rare but many are fearful of passage via ship due to its infamous legacy.

When I started drawing this circular, I wanted to create an otherworldly sort of creature. As the design evolved I came up with the idea of this massive set of jaws in its body. From there adding detail to create the circular shape was fairly easy. I chose this color palette to match the elemental theme of water.
