Darkners were the first to be discover out of the 3 Nightwalkers. They're the most animal like and the less dangerous. They have the less stabilized bodies and can't take in as much light as it should. When the take light from people the person is left in a lifeless state but they're not dead. They are however lack in motivation, thrill, and any sign of joy. The only thing they feel is fear, sorrow, and despair. Even though the person didn't die they will forever live with this empty feeling inside them.
