She kinda doesn't want to ruin it as she secretly (not so secretly anymore) enjoys being feminine; especially if it's for her boyfriend Rainbow Blitz who is both awed by her athleticism, toughness, and beauty. Rainbow Blitz is trying to find a pair of sandals to fit her large feet (Blitz has considered giving up on finding her fashion sandals and giving her a pair of mens surfer flip-flops so she can show off her pretty feet and look tomboyish while doing it).

How about a RP where a tough tomboy Applejack becomes more feminine for Elusive.
The RP begins after a morning run with AJ airing out her toes, the reek of ahard work and sweaty, calloused feet, and unpolished toenails that have bits of dirt under them, these feet catches Rarity's attention who reminds AJ that she would have to act more feminine for her crush Elusive (she does have a feminine side and secretly desires to be more feminine).
