Late anime week art is late! This is from day 6!

As you can tell I was a little over ambitious for this one. Sailor Moon was a HUGE part of my childhood and even the first anime I ever saw, so I wanted to make sure it got a nice picture with all the inner senshi together. What most stuck out for me in terms of Sailor Moon were the friendships between all these girls; so I tried to capture that. It was nice to grow up with a show about girls being good friends and growing strong both through the adventures they had and through each other.

Also Usagi was a big role model for me. She was a crybaby clutz (a lot like little me was) but she grew up and proved to be able to kick ass when she needed to. She helped me realize I could become someone pretty amazing too.

Also Sailor Moon and the Lion King were probably the two things I drew the most back in the day, so I guess it also helped me grow as an artist! :’)
