Mareep stands about 5.5 inches tall and is made from smooth and rose minky. It was great to remake a plush I first made in 2014. This one is much more advanced technically and stylistically. I wanted to do an oval shaped eye since oval eyes really appeal to me and keep the face very round for a classic sheep look. Overall I am very happy with this and how different it is from my previous mareeps which lacked the texture in their wool. It has a nice toy look, almost like a Pokedoll.Related content

Yes! They just added gen 2 a few days ago, plus a few new nice features.
I did! I wanted her to be really special. I put a lot of effort into all of my plushies, but I have thought for a long time how I would do the mareep again since I made it so long ago, so that went into her creation.

OH my goodness this is adorable! I think I can say that this is one of my favorite versions of a Mareep plushie I've seen. :> Your tweaks to your old pattern definitely make it stand out. It's silhouette and the roundness of the face and eyes are just lovely. I love how you've added texture in the wool, it looks amazing against the smoothness of the minky!Β

Thanks! I actually drafted a whole new pattern this time because I wanted something a bit more refined. I think this one is my favorite too, the lumps are a lot of extra work but definitely worth it.

It is super soft! The strands do float everywhere (including my nose) when I cut it, but it is definitely worth it.
