Here's another monster from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story! Dark Star is one of the central plot elements (if not THE central element) of the game, and actually falls more under malevolent artifact rather than a true monster. This is its normal form when you fight it in the airway.Would have posted this much sooner, but Mario Monsters has been down for a while due to some minor details, and it's back up now. In related news, I have manga studio up and running on this computer, so this will be my last picture to be made entirely in photoshop. Three cheers for better lineart again!

I just wish that Nintendo gave it more of a backstory than "it was just found, and it was malevolent".
Personally, I think that the Dark Star itself used to be a Star Sage, but it turned against the others due to jealousy.

It certainly has some interesting attacks. I thought that one where it brings Mario and Luigi's shadows to life and then fires lasers at them was really unique and out of the ordinary. Also, the one huge Laser Attack was awesome as well.

I remember seeing this on Mario Monsters a few years ago, I was really impressed with how good it looked and still am, nice work.:3
