You have no idea how long this one took me.... just to draw every little smorg.... but it must be done! For the good of the Super Mario Bros. Monster Compendium... no, for the world!Smorg is a boss you fight in paper mario.... it's comprised of a bunch of little smorgs.... which you never fight alone. That's why there's no distinction between the group and the singular. Oh, Oh.... their tentacles are called "Smorg Miasma".... oooooooooooh.....
UPDATE: You should prolly click full view to get a decent impression of this work..... and the tru nature of my pain in drawing all of it.

I HATED the Smorgs. Dang, they were one of the few Paper Mario: TTYD bosses I lost to (the others being Crump in Keelhaul Key and the Shadow Queen- obviously).
Ya know, since those disc-things their bodies are comprised of kinda resemble little X's, I think they might be X-Naut creatures...Hmm, just a thought.
Back to the point: I am quickly becoming obsessed with your Mario art. Keep it up! X3

Hours..... that comes close, yes. I was worried that the shapes of the smorgs wouldn't come out in the dark coloring, so I used some different techniques than usual to somewhat preserve the line work.
