Description
I got to thinking about what the ladies would be like if they were Don’t Starve characters, so I decided to give it a shot and do portraits for them in the Don’t Starve style. |D For some idle thought about how they’d play…
Hunter
Perks
- Increased close-range damage, good health
- Moves quickly
- Not scared of monsters
Disadvantages
- Gets hungry faster than other survivors
- Can’t cook - her crockpot food restores less health/sanity/hunger than others
Smoker
Perks
- Increased long-range damage (blow darts, boomerangs, etc)
- Good cook - her crockpot food restores more health/sanity/hunger
Disadvantages
- Low health
- Lower close-range damage
- Needs to smoke a cigarette at least once a day. Possibly a cigarette would be something you could craft? It’d reduce her health a little and anyone around her while she was smoking. If she misses a day she takes a big sanity hit.
Jockey
Perks
- Can ride Beefalo easily and for longer (might not even need to domesticate them first?)
- Does increased damage when her sanity is low
- Raises nearby survivors sanity if her sanity is high
Disadvantages
- Low sanity
- Drains nearby survivors sanity if her sanity is low
Charger
Perks
- Doesn’t aggro neutral mobs like Tallbirds or Beefalo in heat
- Can domesticate Beefalo faster, befriend follower mobs for longer
- Raises the sanity of the other three if they’re near her
- Loses hunger slower due to her previous experience in the outdoors
- May be able to make maps without a cartography table
Disadvantages
- Loses sanity if a passive or neutral mob is killed around her or by her, ESPECIALLY Koalephants
- Has trouble sleeping and only gets half the benefits for sleep
- Loses sanity more quickly once it’s already down past a certain threshold
Of course, this is all just speculation, haha. I don’t know how I’d go about programming these kind of things for custom characters, or if they’d be balanced at all in actual play…
The zombies in general are Left 4 Dead's, but the female Hunter and Smoker OCs are miiine, while Charger and Jockey are jazaaboo 's

Actually, it's Charger who's the team mom and leader of the group, Smoker is too much of a laid back loner for that, Hunter is too energetic and thrill-seeking and Jockey too crazy to be the leader.

I wouldn't mind trying out the Smoker myself, longer range would be so much more useful

Oooooh, I'd play with them so much!
They all have their perks and disadvantages, but hmm, the best for me would be... Hunter! I can handle the fast hunger and all, I like characters that are good for a fight and can run faster than others, I like fighting [even if I suck at it]. The worst for me would be Jockey, because I surely have troubles with keeping sanity at good high level.
