Amalgams are kind of immortal - if you try to attack them, it spams a lot of weird red text at you and their HP gets all screwy. Subsequently, the skelebro amalgam would probably do the same thing.Undyne eventually ends up taking them in and looking out for them though, so things aren't totally miserable for the poor thing.

Probably because the human could always try being nice and sparing the amalgamates, or they could just go back to the evacuated monsters and absolutely decimate their ranks... Or Alphys just didn't want anyone to know about them.

Holy crap. Putting aside the whole "immortal scene", the thought that Undyne would do this and the way Sixbones reacted was amazing. So was her reaction that it didn't work o-o

...I'm probably a horrible person for saying this, but part of me wants to see a version where it did work and what Undyne's state is from there.

I think the Sans part is the only half that understands what Undyne was trying to do, and was okay with letting it happen.
And is the only half of Sixbones that subsequently understood that it doesn't work, and they can't be at peace.
