Great shot. How did you go about adding the sky in PS?

well, i actually added the building on top of the sky photo. in the photo that had the building, i selected the sky first (because that's easiest), then chose "invert selection*, then feathered a bit (that part was hard and i kept selecting different amounts, so don't remember which number i ended up with, but i was trying to not get too much of a "glow" around the buildings, yet not have the buildings look too sharp against the sky).
anyway... then i clicked on *move* and clicked and dragged the entire lower part of the image (including building and landscape), and moved it onto the image that contained the sky i wanted, then clicked on "merge layers* once i decided it looked right. to try to get rid of the glow around the building, i cloned darker sky onto the glowing part of the sky, but don't think i did it enough (but that's pretty tedious work).

Are you using Photoshop, or something else?
What I usually do in Photoshop for this type of situation, is I manually cut out most of the sky, leaving just a strip of it remaining above the foreground. Assuming the sky is fairly uniform, or is a different color than the foreground, I just go to "Select>Color Range", select the remaining sky and adjust the fuzziness until the preview shows the selection I want. Then it's just a matter of using the eraser tool to get rid of the selected sky, and you should have a fairly clean foreground layer that you can paste over a better sky.

I'm not much for modern design but I do like the looks of this house. If you hadn't mentioned the line where the sky meets the house I never would have noticed it.

The architecture is cool, but the sky makes a scary environment!!! *brrr*

I love what you did to the sky, it's beautiful! House minus the fence is nice too...the more I look at this the more I like the house.
