... Glenn Shadix as Penguin. Seriously. That could be awesome!My thoughts on Ol' Mister Cobblepot...
I always liked the idea that he wants desperately to be rich and sophisticated but he can't fight his criminal nature. My redesign of Catwoman has a beauty mark right by her eye. Oswald thought that was the most distinguished thing he had seen and copied it for his own. If my Batman series ever saw liftoff his beauty mark would constantly fall off and he would have to re-apply it.
I thought about all the ways Penguin had been done before and wanted to put my own mark on him, regardless of how "crazy" it was. This one would where bright colored suits and maybe even change his hair color from time to time. Maybe to match his suit or the occasion. I hope you all take to the wild, eccentric, poseur, wannabe Penguin I have here.
Thanks to all the people who have been digging this series. I'm not sick of Batman's world yet! Next up, Riddler and Poison Ivy!

Fantastic interpretations of the rogues gallery! THe struggling poser idea is rather interesting and I haven't seen it implemented to its full extent. I definitely have got to see more of your takes on these guys!

Very good idea. I like how he's less of a weird bird obsessed psycho, and more like a spoild richboy who is a wannabe crime boss.

Your take is more or less how I've always seen him and I've never understand people who try to make him creepy. He's a poser, that's what makes him delightful. Love your design, and the red hair, surprisingly enough.

The color scheme vaguely reminds me of a rockhopper penguin's markings, so I don't find the change so FAR removed, per se...but a change would probably be welcome at this point for DC. I like your take friend, good job.

I made peace with the fact that Batman will never be done the way I want him. The general audience wants Batman in rubber armor and apparently pointy lipped instead of cloth and leather with a grizzled man underneath. That being said, I think are pretty damn good for what they are. It's not my Batman, but it is a good Batman for movieland.

I get you there. I think that they should have gone with a more traditional looking square jaw-type, but the element of the Joker went really far. I heard terrible things about the next movie, but there's nothing you can do about the whims of Hollywood.

he is no longer a criminal...he's a business man who runs a swanky club in gotham...penguin went legit...also, he's not as dimwitted as alot of people have made him out to be(mostly in the toons).

Yeah, that is his old story. They brought him back to the way he used to be. He was like that before the Tim Burton movies and that's how he was in season four of the cartoon. I like him most like that.

Reminds me Nathan Lang in The Birdhouse.. but not so gay.. but still eccentric.. and I think he could pull off the penguin... in this version of him that is.. flamboyant and eccentric.. but utterly insane. I like it.
