Description
This is a bespoke commission piece, part of a large bridal set. I wanted to take pictures of the different stages of making this tiara. Its now finished but I will show all of the set after the wedding on Saturday.Made with Cowries, diamantes, rock crystal, seed beads, swarovski crystal, silver beads, freshwater pearls, pearl beads, chech glass and silver plated wire. It started out as a flexible beadlace but is now solid in construction.

I've been meaning to ask you how long it usually takes for a piece like this. This is absolutely stunning work--any bride would love to wear something like this!

I usually give myself 4 weeks minimum for a custom made piece, and most of that is planning time. The almost finished tiara took 24 hours for me to make, not including the three cowries in the center of the piece which I did three day earlier. But a piece can take me from a few minutes to a few days depending on what it is.

That's absolutely stunning. I'm generally not a fan of tiaras, but this one is just so fantastic that I can't not love it. ^.^
