I have been playing Monster Hunter Generations and it's a lot of fun!First time I really tried the multiplayer too!

Been a while since I played Generations, found it too easy compared to MH4U and went back to that for the challenge.

YES! I used to love this game! I actually went to a friends house to play on he's PSP since I didn't have one hahaha until I bought MH 2for ps2 .. in Japanese ... Still worth it. Then Dark Souls come to fill the empty void I had in my heart and now one of my top 5 games I love.
I would say my "main" weapon was the Great sword and (in recent games) the Long Sword, depending on the hunt. Recently in MH Online for some reason, I've been dragged to play with Hammers.

Yeah I always go for lancers in game. The charge Blade is winning me over because of it's incredible animations and I'm also thinking about trying the bow.

OH sweet! I haven't played any one of the new gen games expect for MH online so I don't have an opinion about the charge blade
I try to keep track about the monster they launch but I think lost track already hahaha
The bow is interesting! When I started playing I got very excited about them. I mean, the designs are pretty cool! But I'm not one to sit still in battle hahaha so it was not meant for me.
I guess people already asked you this but since we are on the subject what is your favorite monster? I know there are lots of exceptional designs but ... try to name one!

I'd say Tigrex for nostalgia (was on the cover of my first monster hunter and I had a hard time beating it!)
I'm also a big fan of the new Glavenus.

I know Glavenus just from videos, he's design it's amazing and that tail is a pretty nice trick! Awesome concept...

What weapon do you play the most?
In the whole series I think Tigrex is my favorite, mostly because it was the flagship monster of the first Monster Hunter I played. The new monsters are all great too!

Gammoth and Zinogre are my favorite monsters. I main gunlance and charge blade!

you should really play the older ones(if you got them) too in Multiplayer. Singleplayer is nice to get a decent Gear for hunting and having some fun on your own(also training against hard Monsters or getting into another weapon), but the real fun starts when you play with some friends. i am a Greatsword and Gunlance player(having the Most fun with these) but also can play with sword and shield and like to use the light Crossbow.
your picture is pretty nice, maybe you would like to add some background or a floor for your next one. it kinda looks like he is floating. you seem to use the Cellshading style a lot. it really looks good

I have 2 of them on psp and MH4U on 3ds, but I think it's easier to find people playing the newest game.
I always played lance but I think I'll try Bow next and maybe sword and shield.

i also have 3 PSP-versions, one imported from Japan for PS3, one for Wii(MH3) and the 3 new ones for 3DS. i think its an amazing series of Games. if they would make a global available version for PC with free roaming it would be awesome. (Monster Hunter Frontier looks awesome but is only available in Japan and Korea).
Lance is awesome for Teamplay(a capable tank is always awesome), Bow is nothing for me... i cant play well with it. sometimes Fun, more often not(at least not for me). I love being able to block. thats why i like playing with Greatsword and Gunlance, but in the newer Versions(MH4U and MHG(or MHX how you want to shorten it... i personally like MHX more because the Japan version was called this)) they are way to clunky and slow... thats why i now play more with sword and shield and sometimes with the Insect staff. hope you will have Fun with Sword and shield
