A very cute concept. I like their expressions. Grandson all wonder and such, Graddad going 'Yeeaahh I remember what a bear of a shot that was to pull off' or something.

Not really, only sketches I made a while ago.

I love everything about this piece! The characters, the room, the out of focus tv, the tv glow and sparklies, the posters in the bg, the lighting, the colors. Amazing!

I think the concept has a lot of potential. And I love the picture. Posters, action figures, spaceship models, episode tapes, and (I suspect) some or all of those books. It makes me want to watch The Starforge.

Thanks! I was pretty happy with the concept, so I was sad when I decided to put it away. Who knows, maybe in 20 years, if nobody did that story, I'll make it happen.

Ah, so it just registered that's the Sarah character in the background. I'm curious to see where her design ended up, as it's varied a lot between the previous illustrations you've posted.

Best to start with something simple. (Or at least as simple as possible.)

I love this so much. Reminds me of when my siblings and I would watch the original series Star Trek episodes on cushions in my aunt's house. Good times.
