Description A mischievous forest spirit and a con artist out of her element.
Those two are from a collection of short comics about characters and events happening in and around an enchanted forest. It's a side project and I are working on in our spare times

Oh, I see. You wanted her to be less of a fighter and it would be easier to draw. I understand from reading the comic since she has a lot of allies saving her like the wolf spirit.

This is really interesting. I like the design of the forest spirit, and the con artist has a pretty nice costume.
So I take it that since this is being worked on in your spare time, that we probably won't see this story for a while?

I want to focus on one chapter of another story I have for a while. If it goes well, I'll stick with it, if not then I'll switch to another project. Either this one or another (which is more sci-fi)

And just out of curiosity, how did you make that ripped paper effect around the edge of the image? Did you use some kind of brush?

I'm just wondering because it gives a really nice traditional feel to this digital piece.

I plan to do a lot more of those story related art for a while.
For the brush I used a simple hard brush (from photoshop) ans I played with the scattering. It's the brush I used for all the image, but I changed the size for the details so it's not as apparent. I hope it helps
