Well, I figured that that would be good enough. It isn't? If I scanned it bigger and made it smaller on GIMP would it still have color on it?

yea you can try that. im not sure what resolution your scanner goes up to, but i have mine set on 1200x1200

Mine goes up to 300 DPI, but I cna't do it now because I'm at my grandma's.
