Description I'll admit it, once uploaded the other picture suddenly looked far less good than I had expected it to, so I'm posting a second one much sooner than I would have. This was taken on another day, at a different place, and there's a good chance it's a different train as well, but the basic point still remains: It shows a class 643.2 Bombardier Talent DMU, this time in snow.

The shot was taken near the Aachen Schanz stop, basically at the same spot where I took 140 in Snow as well. I'd have liked far more snow on the vegetation around, but the other is one of my most popular pictures of all time, so I must have done something right there.

I Love it! Red train against the almost monochrome scene!

I like it, a nice contrast of white and red.

Ah, now from this angle, the lines of styling down the sides of the unit are definetly more visible, at least from the front top side. And the roof doesn't exactly suffer either despite the units for the air con being classically located up there. Thanks to the rounded edges all across the unit remains streamlined as much as possible. Quite intriguing really. The electric AC Talents have all the electrical equipment located on the roof which kinda spoils the look for me, and maybe the aerodynamics ever so slightly...

Yes, for me the classic two-part Talent is still the best there is. I'd have liked the AC Talents better if they had maybe put the electric equipment more in the middle of the train.

Der Zug stellt einen schΓΆnen Farbklecks zum tristen Grau in Grau des Winters dar, auch mit der Symmetrie mag ich mich anfreunden - schΓΆn gesehen.
