I made another layer above all the other layers, then I filled it all with white while keeping the bucket tool set to use all layers. That way when I filled it, it didn't fill over the ottsels. Then I applied the blur tool I messed around with it a bit, but that's basically what I did.

hmm, sounds more complicated than i thought.

if you don't care i'd like to ask, do you start with scetches and then continue on the computer when you draw?

It's much less complicated than it sounds. Technically it's two steps.
1. Fill
2. Blur

I always start with sketches, if I did an outline from scratch it'd all be so terrible. Lately the sketches along with everything else are done right on the computer, my sketchpad's mostly been for doodles lately.

yeah i figured. the only situation , that i've heard of, when being able to hand draw on a computer is with that mechanical pen-thing that digital artists use. is that how you do scetches...

The headband pulls her hair up, so I figured if it were removed her hair would look longer... and in this picture I removed her headband--like I removed Daxter's goggles--and so I made her hair fall down more.

No worries, clothes seem to be the best way to identify someone in cartoons lately
