My first attempt at a pen-and-ink for the first time in a couple decades. Originally, the plan was to fill n the white space around the whale and show the pattern of the waves around the breach. Then I decided (possibly out of laziness) that I would take the "less is more" approach and just show the immediate ripples around the whale itself.
