Finished picture out of the Morgana sketchdump I did a little while ago ([link] ); I'm going to finish up at least one more of these. Again this is just going on the idea that Morgana's hair is naturally curly unless she straightens it with magic. I liked the idea of having her go "Normal" every so often, and be totally casual here, going about town on errands with a cute ponytail, natural hair, and just khakis and a flannel on.

This was also an experiment for me because it's the first piece I've inked digitally! This is why the lines are so rough... I had no idea what I was doing I thought I'd start simple. I did some thing with the "simulate pressure" on the stroke command, and I don't think I'm going to use that most of the time; artistically it's not my style, although I like how it gives an actual brush look to the lines as if I were actually using a brush instead of a pen to ink. Neat.

Anyhoo... just something to fill the time while I try to learn PS a bit better, try to figure out this inking bugaboo, and also have some Morgana love. Sorry the flannel shirt looks like crap, at that point I just watned it DONE so I hand-lined the plaid parts (with a mouse, and it shows) and then tried giving the whole thing a soft, faded look with the blur tool. ....Eh. It's about half of what I was going for, I consider it an improvement and we'll leave it at that. ^_^
