Description + + Sky Fire + +

There is a fire
In the sky tonight
Making some things dull
And some things bright

Shades of blue
Hues of red
All blending together
In the sky’s bed

There’s a fire
A light to be seen
It all looks
Like just a dream

The new blends
With the old
Leaving new stories
To be told

The shadows, black
Are cast
Across the lawn
Memories of the past

There is a fire
In the sky tonight
Making some things dull
And some things bright

One thing I know
Is that
You light the fire within
No matter where I am at.

Wow Lauren! That is too cool for school!! I realllly like the picture tons and lots and the poem is great! I envy when people can make their poems rhyme w/o it sounding forced! Cool stuff!!!

Love it! I adore that picture, absolutely adore it, and this poem is good. +Noddu.+ Great minds think alike right? "There's a fire, burning beneath you" lmfao. That's what I was reminded of when I read it, my poem The Fire. Lmfao.

The picture and poem are both very nice.

If there was one thing I would point out it is that I find the third line in the last stanza ("You light the fire within") to be a little cliche but it still works well in the poem.

Again, good job!
