I like the effect created from the reflection and the floating leaves as well... it's like something big is about to happen and everything is getting ready for it, or... perhaps it's something else. I like how you've left it open for interpretation in that sense.

It's interesting how everything is quite blurry against the kid who is in focus, sharp and all...

Lovely colours and atmosphere created. I'm not sure the colours work, as such, but... yeah, it's profound stuff.

I remember the bear and Inuyasha pics you first drew on Zot...I think back to those and think 'Damn.' You have improved greatly and I think this piece inspires a lot. I love you put tons of work into this, but it seems so effortless. Deffinately my favorite of your pieces. I would buy this from you...you should make it a print.
