Description Another oldie - on this occasion one which had been through the wars a bit. Particularly having been stored in a particularly poor corner of my old bedroom. A room which had a significant damp problem, resulting in a persistent mould which tended to attack anything which stayed in one place for more than ten nanoseconds. ...This has since been rectified by the purchase of a dehumidier. However, it did mean that I had to spend a bit of time trying to clean this image up...Unless the gamma settings on my monitor are way off...and they shouldn't be...this doesn't look to have cleaned up too badly.

Bit of a change of pace for me this, being a sunrise rather than a sunset, which I usually get!

An absolutely freezing sunrise I might add, back in 1999 I think, just after we'd moved into that house.

Date this was taken means that this would have been taken on my little Halina 110 Flashmatic.

Really is dramatic and beautiful! Argh, you keep posting all these pictures showing how beautiful it is there and it just makes me more and more annoyed that I'm not there too!

Hope that there will be more to follow too, and that you like them just as much!

Just gives you even more excuse to visit again I think!

Wow, that's a great shot! A little grainy at full res, but the colours and the cloud shading are fantastic! I really love this one!

Thanks! It is a bit grainy - think given the light levels and the small size of a 110 negative frame it's pretty inevitable. Would be interesting to see if I can smooth it out a bit though with a scan from the negative though...that'll need to wait until I've a proper transparency scanner though.

...And until I actually find the film that goes with the print...that might take a while!
