Japan was the first to come to Taiwan's aid back when Typhoon Morakot disaster washed away entire villages...and I was really moved when I saw:
Never knew my first time drawing Hetalia characters would be for such saddening situation...
Taiwan donated 40 billion Yen for Japan disaster relief, and sent tons of first aid equipments to Japan... even though Taiwan and Japan has a rather ambiguous relationship. Officially we broke off diplomatic relations because of P.R.O.C, but we people still love each other...
Back when Japan owned Taiwan, Japan saw potentials in Taiwan and taught her a lot... Even now, after the war, many Taiwanese people feel grateful toward Japan for what they did.
I also love Japan for many reasons. It has a special place in my heart.
"fight & smile" is a quote by one of the surviving victims when interviewed by reporter...
Japan people are honorable and have such strong hearts. Did you see how organized and united they are when devastating disasters hit?! I sincerely hope they will get through this soon.

Thank you for the invitation, but I have to decline since I used Hetalia characters here and I remember around the time of 2011 disaster artists on pixiv made it clear to NOT draw about the disaster with Hetalia characters since it kind of lacked respect...

When this happened, I pray as much as I could for Japan. It was all I could do at the time. I didn't have extra money to donate to Japan, and I really, really regret it, even though I know that it wasn't because I didn't want to.
I really wish I had money at the time to help Japan rebuild its civilzation...
I'm horrible. I hate myself even more for not being able to help them.
I'm really hard on myself, and always have been, so I'm really sorry if you people who are reading this think that I'm being too hard on myself. But that's just how I am...

I can honestly say, that this made me full-out cry, something I haven't done in a very long time. I just watched "The earthquake that shook the world" A Discovery Channel program covering the entire thing, and this kinda pushed me over the edge. Its a very touching, amazing, drawling. *bows* You did an amazing job. *is still crying while typing this*

No offense but every country has made an effort to help Japan. Even America. Japan, although not to this scale, is dealing with the problem and are rising from the turbulence they have faced, and although you may believe that America doesn't care I don't believe that's fair, nor is it ethical. For when in times of need our world actually comes together to lend a hand to one another.... for a change.

Very beautiful and heartfelt. A moving piece, it actually made me cry. I have a friend who lives in Japan, and I remember her telling me about all of the chaos and her worry, her panic over whether or not her family was safe. It's a very sad situation. You are such a gifted artist to portray with such depth the pain and yet the perserverence of the Japanese people as well as the love from Taiwan.

This picture is absolutely amazing. It makes me just want to shout out loud, root for Japan and tell them to keep going and to stay strong, and it feels so much more special done by someone else from Taiwan. Japan is a beautiful country with great people and if anyone can pull through, it's them.
