Hire me to draw it instead, not really, i can't animate to save my life lol.But yea, more crappy reboots instead of doing more original shows, there are pilots out there that deserves the spotlight, or at least put some fucking effort into the reboot, and Victor sounds fake as fuck, he's not a very passionate artist at all, if he wanted to do a reboot, he should have done it right, first impressions matters ya know, of course you're gonna attract old fans, what did you expect from the backlash, most kids don't even know what Thundercats is, they could have moved Thundercats 2011 to Neflix and it would have gained a lot of views and attract new fans, it's a win-win.
I almost did not reconized WillyKit and WillyKat on the poster, they really look nothing alike the original, i seriously thought there was 2 new characters, and Cheetarah looks like a guy.

3rd i dot mind reboots but doesnt mean it should be ok even if terrible or no respect they need to honor the legends of old bec people peopel pour their blood and sweat to their story to be great not to turn and rember as like this horror show

You’re right. The style doesn’t fit. Although I’ve seen other people draw the their own approach to Thundercats in a similar style and it works a lot better.

Tell me about it. I’ve actually been rather enjoying Bubble Guppies, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Mickey’s Roadsters and Jake and the Neverland Pirates. I haven’t watched Paw Patrol but it does look cute. I can see the appeal.

In the animation company's case it still pays the bills. CN's paying them to make this and they need the money.

It not only respects the original Ducktales but even the original Carl Barks comics Ducktales was based on. It actually kind of annoys me that more people are talking about how shitty the new Thundercats is than than how great this Ducktales is.
The fact that the 2011 Thundercats was left unfinished and this is being made doesn’t help.

True. I really think this idea of Thundercats Roar isn’t a bad one but it needs a much better art style and general approach. I have a t shirt of the Thundercats celebrating Christmas done in a simple and cartoonish style but it looks far far better than the style Roar went with

Look at Gravity Falls for example, simple style but great designs, animation, story and characters, it was a huge success that millions of people love, and still love it today.
Infinity Train pilot video has 3.7M views, and it's been out for a year and yet people still loved it, simple style, but in it's 8 minute video, great characters, great animation.
Star vs the forces of evil, simple style and animation, but the characters and story are great, it pulls you in.
What do these have in common? They have Mystery to it, which is something that really attracts people, wanting to know more about the lore, the characters, it's one of the things that makes them so popular, it makes you curious.

2nd true a mystery factoor adds alot but thats not all they have one gf has the capcity to use all tehri characters all taht was thought as extras become much more

Yea, those cartoons are great, but don't seem to have too much of a plot, but great content, i'm just saying that for older viewers, mystery is key for attracting people, but that's what i think, i really like it when a cartoon has so much mystery left to uncover, like i still want to know more about Gravity Falls mysteries and Star vs the forces of evil past queens, about Glossaryck, Eclipsa, more about Toffee, about Festivia etc, the story is what really drew me in.

Agreed. CN is just becoming populated by more shows that look the same. "OK K.O." "Amazing World of Gumball" (mainly in regards to how the Waterson family is drawn) and "Steven Universe" look pretty damn close in terms of appearance. I believe it's the same "jellybean" smile. Everyone is using it, and that's even outside of CN stuff like "Gravity Falls" and "Star vs The Forces of Evil."

At least those shows are original and great shows with great characters and plot, heck, better animated than this Thundercats Roar thing, the problem is rebooting and making way dumber to appeal to kids, cuz bright colors and goofyness attracts them and CN can sell toys with it, cuz fuck creativity.

Yeah, I'm really confused as to why they want to reuse Thundercats. As you said,
the shows I mentioned are good in their own right and if that art-style attracts
kids/viewers then go for it, but why of all things they thought "hey let's use that
coat of paint and apply it to something old" is a mystery to me. Must really be lazy
in their corporate headquarters.

probably for pay (much!) less for rights: when you do something new this give you rights for the property, more aged, less rights (lesser if the author or company dies)
