If the actual art for the show looked liked this or even something remotely similar, a lot of people wouldn’t have complained. To be honest I have nothing against this show but it just looks poor in quality. The original show was before my time (only saw brief moments of it) and I enjoyed the 2011 reboot. The new reboot looks like it will do stupid humor a majority of the time. Sorry for the rant ad once again this looks amazing.

Kind of sad when fanart for a show such as Thundercats Roar looks better than the actual show. Even sadder to go through the comment section and watch a high leveled artist defend an obviously low leveled, bland animated show that treat kids like they're stupid.

Oh and BTW, the current DuckTales is a perfect example on how to do a reboot without insulting the fans or creating something with low quality because networks want to be cheap and think kids will fall for anything. Just saying...

Ofcourse, you're free to like it and I also like dumb things sometimes too. Fanboy and ChumChum being the biggest example of that, but difference is while Fanboy and ChumChum was an original show with it's own ideas Thundercats Roar is not. It's taking a franchise that was all about action and turned it into a joke, just like Teen Titans Go. So ofcourse the fans are going to be heavily disappointed and some even angry. I'm one of those people who grew up with Transformers Animated and despite the change in the artstyle from the original G1 Transformers people still loved it because the creators stuck with what made Transformers work.
I'm not really a huge fan of Thundercats, but I'm just disappointed to see it fall into another "let's make this serious show into a comedy" bit. Plus I don't care for the way the creators and what little fans the show has are responding to people criticizing the show. Thundercats Roar would work if it was an online parody or a five minute commercial parody, but since it's not it's just very distasteful in watching it trying to mimic Teen Titans Go. And, dear lord, the artsyle! I use to feel bad about my art, but after seeing what the show is going to look like I don't feel half as bad.

These new cartoons look like a lot of fun, dude. I really don't get all of the hate. The originals were great for their time but, they did not age well. I see nothing wrong with bringing them back to life for a new generation. That intro for this one was crazy good animation. I guess I can appreciate it for what it is.

As an illustrator, and amateur animator I can appreciate them for what they are. I also realize that these reboot shows take nothing away from me, or my childhood but, add something to my children's. Getting angry over it is useless, and wasted energy. Please, troll somewhere else. Have nice day!

Okay, my issue with Thunder Cats ROAR(Which really should have been called Thunder Cats HO. I mean, come on. It was right there.) is that it's continuing a trend that's been prevalent for a while now;
Reboots, Revivals, and Remakes.
In the past few years, we've been getting more and more of these and less original content. And, while I don't mind some of them(and am even excited about a few) I do wish for more new shows.
It's one of the reasons I'm so hyped for Infinity Train. It's not a revival or a reboot. It's a brand new show with new concepts and new characters. I'm hoping it does well enough to inspire people(and Networks) to start taking risks with some new creators and content.
As for Roar itself... I'm not a fan of the art style and, if it is going to TTG route, I'm more then likely to avoid it.
But, it's not out yet, so who can say? It could be closer to OK KO(a show I love). We just have to wait and see.

If you are gonna bring back stuff from an older generation, then target THAT generation with the reboot."
